The location was fantastic! it was right opposite waterloo train station. i also appreciated the proximity to two small grocery stores, tesco and sainsburys. They were nearby if i needed anything. the staff was very helpful and answered all my questions with patience.
My room was on the third floor. There was a winding staircase and no lift! it was a struggle to get my suitcase up there. the bathroom had a strange smell, it was quite unpleasant. also, the bed felt very hard. It was not the most comfortable.

mixed experience with some drawbacks

helpful stafflack of air conditioningsmall shower
the staff was friendly and helpful .
The lack of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably warm. also, the small size of the bathroom was inconvenient. The shower was particularly cramped, and i found it difficult to move around comfortably. there was also no lift available, made bringing my luggage to the room on an upper floor difficult.

lovely stay near waterloo

free drinksglazed windowsstrange smell
i found free drinks in the fridge, including beers and soda waters. the breakfast was really the best i had on a hotel stay in england. toiletries, towels, and sheets were nice and comfy, i appreciated that. a hot shower was available and the double glazed windows really blocked the train noise at night.
my room was a bit too hot, it lacked air con, and the blinds did not block the window enough. this unfortunately affected my sleep. i also noticed a strange smell coming from the bathroom, a bit unsettling.
Dining
